1995 Pontiac Firebird Firehawk

The difference between a modified Pontiac Firebird and the SLP Firehawk was boiled down to the cryptic notation of “R6V.” And that was good, because while being intrigued with the heady performance of “tuner” cars, creating one normally required seeking out and dealing with one or more tiny firms, often located faraway, specializing in converting already fast cars into rocket ships. To acquire an SLP Firehawk, on the other hand, you just visited your local Pontiac store and specified the processing code “R6V” on the dealer order form. You could even finance the car's purchase price-which starts at $6495 above the Firebird Formula-through the bank. SLP (Street Legal Performance) Engineering began producing Firehawks in 1992. This car proved extremely popular: The '93 and '94 runs of 250 and 500, respectively, sold out. For '95, SLP had upped output to 1000 while offering the car in coupe, T-top, and convertible configurations. This outstanding convertible has only 62k miles and retains all of its original dressing and major components. The Bright Red paint is in very good condition and the leather interior shows very little sign of wear. If you are looking for some modern muscle with comfort and performance not to mention some great eye appeal here is a fine example.
