1965 Dodge A100 Sportsman Camp Wagon
Description
We have been around the block, so to speak, a few times in this hobby and have seen a lot. However, we have rarely seen something as unique as this in this kind of condition. It didn't take long for Americans to express their desire for life on the road after the creation of modern automotive travel and Dodge joined in with the A100 Sportsman Camp-Wagon in 1964. The original A100s were shipped to Travco of Elkhart, Indiana where the conversions were completed. This included paneling on the interior walls and ceiling, vinyl covered foam dinette seats that converted to a double bed along with a smaller kid-sized bunk, a propane stove, fridge, and curtains. This particular example is powered by the bullet proof slant 6 and automatic transmission. It has the rare and very unique Fleet Air AC unit with a one of a kind distribution system mounted on roof. The air conditioner looks like something out of an old SciFi flick. This one is two owner unit with only 43k miles on the odometer. For anyone looking for that truly rare and different kind of ride and if you want the only one at cruise night, hey you can't go wrong.
